Introducing 'Containment Breach' just in time for the Halloween season.

Containment Breach is a mutated plague victim, reaching for a source of food with insatiable aggression.

The sculpt took four days of intensive work and is meant to demonstrate my skill set with organic sculpting and horror makeup.

the sculpt is modeled nude to showcase anatomy understanding.

I wanted to preserve an essence of humanity on the sculpt. about 40% of the face still resembles an adult male.

The male victim is in the mid stages of infection and has begun to fuse to a nearby late stage case.

The virus liquefies the brain leaving only the motor cortex and adrenal medulla intact. Adrenaline and noradrenaline are produced at an accelerated rate keeping the victim in a constant state of panic.

I wanted to show the viruses effects on the human form. It feeds upon the victims tissue and warps bone to fulfill its intentions.

An infected host will seek out other humans with aggressive determination.

The late stage victim is a woman who has fused into the tumorous mound of flesh. The virus has converted her rib-cage onto a toothy jaw.

The blisters contain a glue like substance and will burst when they come in contact with uninfected tissue. The substance corrodes tissue and enters the bloodstream. The blisters alone took days to produce. Each was sculpted by hand. Each is unique.

Tongues spout from the late stage victims and behave much like a frog tongue, dragging new victims closer to the virus.

The origin of the plague is still unknown but late stages of the disease sprout rows of teeth from burst blisters which once tested were revealed to be amphibian in nature. National security is investigating to see if international foul play is a factor.
